Summary
The research project is centered on the study of reading comprehension processes in typically-developed young adults and in young adults with dyslexia speaking English either as a first or a foreign language. More specifically, the research aims at assessing how anaphoric constructions are processed and resolved, with specific focus on the differences between concrete and abstract referents. Further attention is given to the underlying general processes such as cognitive processing speed, working memory and motivational / anxiety aspects of language use.
