Questo lavoro di tesi si propone di analizzare l'evoluzione del termine Migrantenliteratur e l'importanza di questo genere letterario nel panorama tedesco, dalle sue origini al suo riconoscimento ufficiale attraverso premi letterari come il Chamisso-Preis. Trattandosi di autori migranti, la questione linguistica è altrettanto importante, dato che alcuni termini o l'uso di una lingua specifica possono rivelare aspetti interessanti dal punto di vista semantico. La Mehrsprachigkeit ricopre quindi un ruolo fondamentale, al pari del contenuto, contribuendo all'efficacia dell'intera opera. Nello specifico, sono stati analizzati brani tratti da Passavantis Rückkehr di Franco Biondi, Sehnsucht nach Sprache di Carmine Gino Chiellino, Cosimo und Hamlet di Dante Andrea Franzetti e Ich weiss nur, dass mein Vater grosse Hände hat di Francesco Micieli.

This research aims to analyze the evolution of the term Migrantenliteratur and the importance of this literary genre within the German landscape, from its beginnings to its official recognition through literary awards such as the Chamisso-Preis. Since these are migrant authors, the linguistic issue is equally important, given that certain terms or the use of a specific language can reveal interesting issues from a semantic point of view. Multilingualism therefore plays a fundamental role, contributing to the effectiveness of the entire work. Specifically, passages from Passavantis Rückkehr by Franco Biondi, Sehnsucht nach Sprache by Carmine Gino Chiellino, Cosimo und Hamlet by Dante Andrea Franzetti, and Ich weiss nur, dass mein Vater grosse Hände hat by Francesco Micieli were analyzed.
