This thesis aims to analyse some Epigravettian industries of Tyrrhenian Tuscany from a techno-economic point of view, in order to reconstruct the objectives of the débitage and determine, where possible, the role of the sites within the Epigravettian human population of the territory. In the light of the new data, we have therefore tried to frame the industries analysed both within the classical chronology and within the new models proposed since the 2000s, evaluating whether the elements identified by these models, as markers of real discontinuity of the technical traditions and the aims of the exploitation, are also present in the lithic industries examined in this work.
