Riassunto
This work of thesis treat the communication within a battery management system (BMS). The BMS is an electronic control unit (ECU) that controls the performance of the battery in a vehicle. During the last years, with the introduction to the market of electrical and hybrid vehicles (EV and HEV)where battery is an important part of the vehicle, the importance of this ECU has grown enormously.
The BMS considered in this thesis is based in a fail-safe architecture conform with the standards ISO 26262 and IEC 61508...
