Riassunto
The reduction of the computational time in CFD simulations is one of the most important
challenge of the last years. In order to reduce the number of reactions, a reduction method has been taken into account.
In particular the DRG, Directed Relation Graph, has been choose because its simplicity
and robustness. In the first part of this work this method has been applied to a laminar flame simulation with huge kinetic mechanism and in a second time the DRG has been coupled to the edcSMOKE solver, for turbulent flames simulation. In the last part, this coupling has been validated comparing the simulation with the complete kinetic scheme and some cases with different setting of DRG.
