Riassunto
This thesis work is the result of an internship in the K.Excellence department of Körber Tissue S.p.A., in the role of Operational Excellence Intern.

This paper illustrates the implementation and possible use of Life Cycle Assessment inside a well-established reality to calculate products’ carbon footprint, to evaluate criticality in their designs in term of sustainability, to provide guide lines and KPI to decrease CO2 emissions and trace improvements
in term of sustainability of the products.
To do this the R&D, Costing, Sustainability and K.Excellence departments played a big role contributing to the activities throughout the project, always maintaining active communication with the group.

The results looked promising and encouraged further improvements and
implementation at the corporate level.
