Riassunto
Blockchain is a developing technology that can provide users with such advantages as decentralization, data security, and transparency of transactions. Over the past decade, the exponential growth and use of this technology led to the development of a significant amount of these types of systems with very different needs and features. This has led to enormous fragmentation in the distributed ledger landscape. In some cases, these systems must communicate with each other. This need has led to the emergence of what is now known as interledger approaches, i.e., technologies that allow blockchains to communicate with each other. This thesis project exposes an in-depth study and the development of a use case of Chainbridge, an open-source communication protocol between EVM-compatible blockchains based on the bridging paradigm. The developed use case proposes a restaurant review system deployed on two blockchains linked with the Chainbridge protocol.
