Riassunto
This work analyses the phenomenon of vaccine hesitancy by investigating the individual and collective motivations which determine vaccination behaviors and the factors that contribute to increasing the phenomenon in modern societies. Particular attention is dedicated to the COVID-19 pandemic and to the Italian case, with an analysis of institutional interventions aimed at encouraging vaccinations and of their consequences in the society. Another reflection concerns the increasingly polarized debate around the themes of vaccines and the so-called "green pass", which has ended up involving issues such as individual freedom and right to work.
