Riassunto (Italiano)
Two biologically accurate vestibular afferent models (for humans and mice) have been implemented as neuromorphic inertial sensors. The models were then integrated in realistic circuitry of the vestibulo-ocular reflex (VOR), implemented through spiking neural networks. The effectiveness of the VOR in compensating for external disturbances was tested in closed-loop with a humanoid robot and a mouse model, in a simulated environment.
