The thesis investigates the ability and the limitation of the Electrical Resistance Tomography (ERT) to evaluate the performance of static mixer in blending non-Newtonian fluids in pipeline and how those evaluations are influenced by different conductivity difference and rheology pairs. Planar Laser Inducted Fluorescence (PLIF) is used as validation technique as it is the standard used in literature.
