Riassunto
In the last two decades, technological innovation has grown at an exponential rate, involving all areas of the business. In particular, new companies called FinTech have established themselves in the banking sector, whose mission is to provide IT services in the financial sector to banking institutions. The adoption by a bank of a service provider outside its perimeter poses numerous challenges from a security point of view. In particular, the management of the digital identities of the bank's customers and employees by an external actor requires a rigorous approach, which guarantees the confidentiality and integrity of user information and which, ultimately, does not compromise the security posture of the bank institute itself. The following thesis will analyze the main aspects of the interaction, from the point of view of access security, through the presentation of a real business case concerning the definition of a federated integration framework between a Fintech and its client institutes.
