Riassunto
Actually, the citizens live in an Infodemic context characterized by an information overproduction, which makes it difficult for citizens to orient themselves and discriminate which information is reliable and which is not. In addition, there's a lack of a place (platform) where to share information without being subject to censorship.
In this thesis, REASON was developed, a decentralized and distributed platform where users can read and publish articles, for free.
Each user can write articles without any restriction on its content; the only constraint is to cite at least one previously published article.
REASON guarantees data immutability, which implies that there's no censorship. In addition, REASON is provided with algorithms that analyze the citations among the articles, and based on this they estimate the authors' authority and the articles' reliability.
