The objective of the thesis has been analyze the transonic loads acting on the launcher Ariane 5ECA at different altitudes, velocities and angles of attack during the launch phase. It has been possible by several simulations with STAR-CCM+.The launcher has been designed with Solidworks also to permit the simulation of the jet leaving the rocket engines. In this way it was possible to obtain information of pressure and mach number variation inside the engines. Finally, the thesis has been focused on the fairing and the frequency domain has been obtained.
