Riassunto
In this work we have designed and realized a wireless PAN and we have dealt with the mutual localization problem of the nodes.
The units are based on a 32-bit Microchip microcontroller and they have an on-board USB interface for debugging operations.
The wireless interface is implemented with a Microchip MRF24J40MA module using MIWI P2P protocol.
The nodes can be powered by the USB interface or by a dedicated USB connector.
Finally we developed an algorithm that enables the received radio signal power to be measured, which is related to the distance between the nodes themselves, and consequently useful for their localization.
