The aim of the research was to investigate how public service patients with a positive psychotherapy experience evalueted different therapeutic factors. An interview and the Therapeutic Factor Q-set (TFQS) have been administered to 19 patients. The 50 factors of the TFQS has been ordered from the most useful to the least useful. Reviewing the patient's life history being aware of how the past influences the present, opening up with the therapist talking about oneself and their problems, and the positive, trusting relationship wit the therapist have been evaluated as the most useful by the patients.
