Riassunto
The current manufacturing process of ultrasound transducers in Esaote SpA is totally manual and it has a relevant dependence on the operator, which may affect the stability and repeatability of the process. Therefore, the introduction of a robotic cell that can automatically perform the lamination of the layers that composes ultrasound transducers can improve and optimize the current manufacturing process.
This work of thesis aims to optimize the automatic cell, composed of the robot, the atmospheric pressure plasma technology, the adhesive dispensing system, and the camera-based positioning system.
