My thesis proposal is based on lexical research, the objective of which is to verify the possible presence of terms or phrases of Homeric origin, in the tragic context of the 5th-4th century BC, and more precisely in the Euripides text of Iphigenia in Aulis . Through a careful analysis of passages chosen in the text in question and a specific comment and explanation of the various narrative contexts and the use of the terms present in them, I aim to bring to light those lexical elements that demonstrate the presence, albeit in different ways , of the Homeric lexicon in the Euripides text.
