The research study, which is the subject of the investigation, aims to investigate the cognitive limitations implemented by managers, in the context of decision-making processes. Attention to the rationalization of managerial decision-making processes, on the other hand, has significant impacts on the definition of business models. Therefore, through the analysis of a case study, it will be highlighted how the computational models of System Dynamics are central to optimizing the strategic choices of managers and, therefore, to oversee the business model innovation process.
