Riassunto
The scope of these studies is to analyze differences between ITER and W-HYDRA platform to be constructed at ENEA Brasimone, which comprises the Water Loop, PbLi circuit and STEAM, with the collection of the main geometrical data of systems from the CAD and the reports and the development of the thermal-hydraulic model in RELAP5/Mod3.3.
First part is concentrated on the Water Loop and heat exchanges between Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Loop.
Second part is about filling, draining, heatup and startup of the plant.
The achievement of the steady state conditions at full power conditions has been demonstrated with the code Relap5/Mod3.3, showing that the parameters trends are stable and compliant with the design values, in line with the ITER plant.
