Il presente lavoro ha riguardato la sintesi di composti eterometallici lineari [Ln(III)-Tr(II)-Ln(III)] (Ln = Pr, Nd, Sm, Dy e Tr = Co; Ln = Pr e Tr = Mn, Fe; Ln = La e Tr = Ru). Nello specifico è stata condotta la reazione di riduzione di complessi trinucleari 3d-4f con cobaltocene allo scopo di ottenere prodotti stabili all’aria. È stata indagata la versatilità del metodo sintetico al variare del lantanide e del metallo di transizione. Studi sulla reattività di questi sistemi hanno permesso di razionalizzare i risultati ottenuti.

This work concerned the synthesis of linear heterometallic compounds [Ln(III)-Tr(II)-Ln(III)] (Ln = Pr, Nd, Sm, Dy and Tr = Co; Ln = Pr and Tr = Mn, Fe; Ln = La and Tr = Ru). Specifically, the reduction of 3d-4f trinuclear complexes with cobaltocene was carried out in order to obtain air-stable products. The versatility of the synthetic method was investigated by varying the lanthanide and the transition metal. Studies on the reactivity of these systems allowed us to rationalize the results obtained.
