Riassunto
ABSTRACT
In this examination paper it will be discussed about one of the most gaining ground technologies over the last few years : the RFID technology and particularly regarding the aerials used in the RFID machineries.
This thesis is subdivided into four chapters as follows:
- a first chapter that describes the RFID system in general, its applications, its components among which it will be focused on the passive tags ;
- the second chapter explains all the dual-band aerials used in the passive tags, focusing particularly on the PIFA dual-band aerials;
- in the third chapter it will be exposed three projects regarding the PIFA aerials working in double frequency that can be used in the RFID systems;
- the fourth and last chapter will explain the conclusions, the future applications of the RFID technology and, above all, the interaction of the latter with the mobile telephony.
