Riassunto
During the last decades, important improvements have been made in the laser intensities domain. In this context, new quantum processes start to kick in and need a proper treatment.
In particular, high energy gamma-photon can be created when charged particles are accelerated and gamma-photons can create electron-positron pairs. These two phenomena can concatenate and give rise to a pair production cascades.
In this master study we study how the characteristics of the system affect the pair yield, by analitically simulating different laser-particle configurations.
