In this study was investigated the function of the Rho/ROCK pathway in different pathologies as the asthmatic and cardiovascular diseases. This signal trasduction has a crucial role in the regulation of the actin polymerization.
Morever, we have identified common drugs that have a mechanism of action Rho\ROCK dependent.
Finally, we have analyzed preclinical and clinical studies that investigate new inhibitors of Rho\ROCK pathway. We think that these new compounds could have a future promising therapeutic applications and they could also show a sinergistic effects in association with the classic therapeutic approach.
