Riassunto
The purpose of this thesis is first to give an overview of electrical and electrochemical storage systems. How they work and the different types available on the market are briefly explained. Then, the applications in which they are used are summarised by comparing the two technologies. After the technical part, the experimental part is presented.
The experimentation consists of some tests to which a supercapacitor was subjected, aimed at finding an equivalent electrical circuit that could describe the operation of the supercapacitor itself.
