Riassunto
The purpose of this thesis work consists in the development of an implantable, biodegradable, micro-structured cardiac patch with electro-conductive properties and functionalized with nanoparticles, with the aim of promoting the in vivo regeneration of myocardial tissue damaged by the infarction, thanks to the synergistic action of the mechanical, chemical and physical characteristics of the patch and of the release of a drug in situ, known for its cardioprotective effects, by the same system. Molecularly imprinted nanoparticles (MIPs) were produced with the aim of preventing the physio-pathological phenomenon of left ventricular remodeling, responsible for heart failure in patients affected by acute myocardial infarction.
