Riassunto
Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) has become a robust and effective way for powering biomedical implants. The aim of this project is to create a universal platform for powering implanted devices. Thanks to extremely low path losses, no problems of multipath reflections, high transmitter power density, inductive powering seems to be the better solution for this purpose. The main limitation of inductive powering is the problem of misalignment between transmitter and receiver, which causes severe reduction in the coupling factor.
This work will relate with the study and design of a novel wireless powering architecture that will be suitable for the majority of applications, thanks to its wide power range and capability to maximize the output efficiency in any conditions.
