The main purposes of this study are evaluating the relation between background radiation and weather conditions and defining a model able to predict future values of a background radiation time series taking advantage of machine learning algorithms.
In this work the safecast dataset has been studied. It contains measurements from a network of radiation sensors placed in different locations,thanks to the aid of voluntary users along the world.
