La tesi analizza il rapporto tra sostenibilità, rendicontazione ESG e accesso al credito nelle PMI italiane ed europee. Dopo aver esaminato il ruolo delle PMI e il quadro normativo europeo, approfondisce standard, certificazioni e rating ESG, nonché il ruolo del sistema bancario nella finanza sostenibile. Dimostra come la sostenibilità, se misurata e comunicata correttamente, rafforzi il merito creditizio e la competitività di lungo periodo.
The thesis analyzes the relationship between sustainability, ESG reporting, and access to credit in Italian and European SMEs. After examining the role of SMEs and the European regulatory framework, it explores ESG standards, certifications, and ratings, as well as the role of the banking system in sustainable finance. It shows how sustainability, if properly measured and communicated, strengthens creditworthiness and long-term competitiveness.
