Implementation of a blockchain-based digital product passport to track and certify the materials used in flat glass products. In order to monitor the flat glass production process, due to its high annual CO2 emissions, the EU has decided to start developing a tool called a “digital product passport.” This tool ensures the circular economy of a product from its initial construction to the final recycling stage. The DPP will be developed using blockchain technology to ensure the immutability and transparency of all stages of the flat glass supply chain.
