The thesis, starting from the model and model of 'Deunionization on productivity and pay' (Dosi et al. 2020), aims to analyse the markets and the companies reaction to the variation of some key parameters in determining the degree and type of market competition. In particular, the different effects of the markets will be investigated according to whether they are fully regulated, composed by only unionised firms, or are present also non-unionised competitors. Furthermore, particular attention will also be paid to the study of the resilience of unionised enterprises with respect to the competitors as the parameters mentioned above vary.
