La relazione presenta in maniera approfondita l’implementazione di una versione estesa del componente TEI Publisher "pb-tify", che consente sia di generare istantanee di una risorsa IIIF, sia di gestire le annotazioni lato client e lato server. Si tratta di uno strumento utile tanto in ambito didattico quanto in quello della ricerca. Oltre a offrire una panoramica generale su IIIF e a proporre un approfondimento sul rapporto tra la tecnologia adottata e la Digital Public History, la relazione illustra il funzionamento dell’interfaccia utente, con esempi a livello di codice sorgente e riferimenti a casi d’uso concreti.
The paper provides an in-depth presentation of the implementation of an extended version of the TEI Publisher component "pb-tify", which allows both the generation of snapshots of an IIIF resource and the management of client and server-side annotations. This is a useful tool for both teaching and research. In addition to providing a general overview of IIIF and an in-depth look at the relationship between the technology adopted and Digital Public History, the paper illustrates the user interface, with source code examples and references to concrete use cases.
