This study investigates hydrogen generation from powders supported on paper as a flexible and safe alternative to free powders. The reaction was studied in a weakly acidic solution (pH 4), and an experimental campaign including comparative tests with loose powders was carried out to evaluate the performance of the system. This first investigation on metal-filled papers provides the basis for further studies on this system.
