Riassunto
In this project, attention has been focused on the synthesis and characterization of a metal-organic framework isoreticular to F4_MIL-140A(Ce). A new fluorinated linker, trifluoroterephthalic acid, has been synthesized and used for the preparation of this novel MOF.
A synthetic route for the preparation of F3_MIL-140A(Ce) has been established and the final product has been characterized by a combination of different techniques (XRD, ATR, liquid NMR).
A fundamental part of the characterzation has been carried out with Solid State NMR in order to understand structural connectivity and dynamic processes involving aromatic rings.
During the design of the synthetic route for F3_MIL-140A(Ce), also the quasi polymorph F3_UiO-66(Ce) has been obtained and characterized with solid state NMR.
