Questa tesi è frutto del lavoro svolto all’interno di Vitesco Technologies Italy, con sede a Pisa, durante un tirocinio della durata di nove mesi all’interno dell’Advanced Technology Team. Questo periodo è stato utilizzato per studiare e ottimizzare il processo per far accedere investimenti in beni materiali 4.0 alle agevolazioni dell’iper ammortamento e del credito di imposta, messe a disposizione dal governo italiano per incentivare gli investimenti in Industria 4.0. In particolare, seguendo un approccio ispirato al metodo delle 5S, dopo aver acquisito della conoscenza generale sul contesto e poi sulle agevolazioni da trattare e sul processo per accedere a queste agevolazioni nel suo stato as is, è stato definito un metodo che ha previsto la progettazione e l’esecuzione di una FMECA, che ha permesso di approcciarsi al problema, mettere in luce le criticità e avere una bussola per apportare i miglioramenti al processo. Gli interventi effettuati hanno aumentato la consapevolezza dell’azienda sulla sua capacità di dominare il processo tramite valutazioni oggettive, di organizzare e documentare la conoscenza sul processo e sulle agevolazioni e di definire un processo e gli opportuni strumenti di supporto che permettono di raggiungere gli obiettivi attesi, oltre ad aver messo a disposizione un metodo che può essere preso come riferimento per approcciarsi a situazioni simili.

This thesis work is the result of a nine-months internship at Vitesco Technologies Italy, in Pisa. I was part of the Advanced Technology Team, and I was responsible of studying the process for obtaining financial benefits the Italian government gives to the companies that invest in 4.0 physical assets. Following an approach inspired by the 5S method, the first part of my work aimed to gain the knowledge needed to understand the context, the benefits to be deepened and the status of the process inside the company to access to these benefits. After that, in the main part of the thesis, I developed a FMECA to face the problem in a structured way, to highlight all the criticalities in the process and to set the actions that should be implemented according to objective data. In the end, I managed to make the company more conscious about its overall ability to master the process, to organize and collect all the knowledge acquired during these months, to give the company a process that should be followed to obtain Industry 4.0 financial benefits and all the tools to support this process. Furthermore, now the company has a method that can be used to approach similar situations.
