Riassunto (Inglese)
This thesis work is the result of a six-month internship carried out at the Navacchio office of Horsa Next S.r.l., a business unit of the Horsa Group. During the internship, I took part in a project aimed at integrating Oracle NetSuite ERP software with a vertical Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system for Fashion S.p.A., a company operating in the fashion industry. The project arose from the need to overcome the information fragmentation that characterized the product development process by introducing a PLM system capable of centralizing the management of technical product data and automatically synchronizing it with the ERP system already in use. The activities carried out during the project included the analysis of the As-Is processes, the definition of requirements, the design of the To-Be model, design and technical development activities, testing and debugging, the preparation of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) documentation and Go-live. Particular emphasis is placed on the reasons that led the company to undertake this digitalization process and on the expected benefits. Finally, the thesis presents the results achieved and possible future developments, highlighting the strategic value of ERP–PLM integration.
