Riassunto
The MSc Thesis deals with the analysis of inductance gradient parameters in a multiple shot launcher named SR\3-60, property of the French-German Research Institute of Saint-Louis (ISL), France. In order to reach a deeper knowledge in this topic a circuital model has been developed, involving both the self-inductance of a launcher and the mutual coupling between them; later, the equations found have been implemented in a Simulink blocks model. What figured out from the analytical study helped understanding the behavior of inductance parameters and designing a static experiment to calculate them as functions of frequency and armature position along the device. These data have been compared with analytical calculation using the Partial Element Method (PEM) as well as with theoretical forecasts. Some studies have been conducted also on dynamic shot experiments, focusing on the measurement setup and on the inductance gradients as well, always with attention to the metrological aspects.
Moreover, possibilities of further studies and improvements on the thesis line have been highlighted.
