Riassunto
A walking man with swinging arms may induce frequency modulation of the returned signal and generate sidebands about the body Doppler. In this report, I develop the preliminary ground work for this challenging field of research.
In particular the objective of this thesis is to investigate human motion in different
scenario ,where the human moves in the street , and observe the characteristics of the received Doppler signature from the target. For this purpose I attempt to develop an accurate model accounting for the key contributions to the Doppler signature for the human motion in urban area.
Firstly, a human walking analysis is presented where the human body is modelled as multi-reflection point target. Later a range-Doppler map for shape-form scatterer is developed using as environment simulation MATLAB.
To simulate the multi-point return from the target I used a short-time Fourier transform(STFT) which is a Fourier related transform used to determine the sinusoidal frequency and phase content of local section of a signal as it changes over time and it bring at spectrogram in the final plot.
Additionally the experiment with 24 GHz RADAR about human motion are provide for different scenario as I’ve explained above.
