Riassunto
The paper is the result of a six-month extracurricular internship carried out at the Bagno a Ripoli branch of Fendi s.r.l, from March 2023 to September 2023.
The thesis project was conducted in the Production Planning Office and had two main objectives:
• Mapping the As-Is processes using BPMN language, from product development to the creation of production orders;
• Development of a KPI Dashboard to support the Production Planning Office.
The challenges encountered in achieving the first objective were mainly related to understanding the integration points between the various processes, both in terms of timing and exchanged documentation.
As for the creation of the Dashboard, it was necessary to first identify the key performance indicators (KPIs) needed to effectively support the various processes. Afterward, we had to retrieve, understand, and prepare the necessary files to obtain the desired data.
Both objectives were successfully achieved.
