L'elaborato va ad analizzare la Thailandia dal punto di vista politico e culturale, con particolare attenzione alla questione dei diritti lgbtq+ in un ottica sia sociale che religiosa. Viene descritta la storia politica del Siam fino all'odierna Thailandia, con i suoi frequenti colpi di stato ed attraverso un analisi delle caratteristiche sociali e culturali peculiari, viene esaminato il rapporto tra la società thailandese e la comunità queer. L'elaborato analizza il rapporto tra le due basandosi sugli aspetti sociali, culturali e religiosi che contraddistinguono questo stato.

It covers the political history of Siam until present-day Thailand, emphasizing its frequent coups d'état, and outlines the link between Thai society and the LGBTQ community based on its unique characteristics. The thesis focuses on the social, cultural, and religious aspects of the relationship.
