Riassunto (Inglese)
This thesis accompanies the making of a short film that departs from Torquato Tasso's Aminta (1573) and investigates its form. It adopts Enrico Fenzi's reading, which identifies in the pastoral play not an idyll but an unresolved field of forces, and examines how that conflictual structure may be inherited by an audiovisual work rather than illustrated by it.
The study unfolds in five chapters. The first discusses adaptation theory beyond the criterion of fidelity; the second reconstructs the Aminta as a system of competing voices, centred on the opposition between gift and theft formulated by the first-act chorus; the third develops a phenomenology of figures and embodied vision (Merleau-Ponty, Butler, Marks, Sobchack); the fourth analyses the film's formal regime — editing, shot regimes, duration, focus — through Deleuze's categories of movement-image and time-image and through the Lucretian notion of clinamen; the fifth examines desire as essence rather than lack, drawing on Spinoza, Deleuze and Guattari, Mauss, Bataille and Derrida, and diagnoses its contemporary
