The thesis is about the development of a data platform commissioned by a healthcare company. The scope of the project is to have a consolidated data source to respond to the requirement analysis on the management of the resources. In addition, the data platform will be the basis to build a data warehouse to support statistical analysis tools for the department of epidemiology. In the thesis, after a general introduction of the field in which the work was carried out, the analysis and development of the data structure will be explained, with reference to the conceptual and logical design, followed by the ETL process and with a particular attention on the treatment of sensitive data. The main technologies used to work at this project have been KNIME, Oracle and Tableau.
