The last decade saw the emergence of a new manufacturing paradigm whereby many manufacturers have shifted their business focus from offering solely high value products, to offering an integrated products and services (PSS).
Existing research in PSS has predominantly looked at supporting the manufacturers on their journey towards ‘servitisation’, however, limited research has been actually conducted to support the customers of PSS in selecting the most suitable PSS offering. Tools and techniques are in desperate need as each customer has own requirements which best reflect or match his characteristics.
This project aims to develop an analytical tool that can be used to help PSS customers to effectively decide and procure PSS offers.
