This thesis discovers the Digital Services Act, which is adopted in the European Union and the implementation of the Artificial Intelligence in the process of content moderation. It makes analyses about the functioning of online platforms that employ AI algorithms. Another important aspect addressed is the freedom of expression of EU citizens in the online space and moreover, it assesses whether the operation of online-platforms complies with the EU law.
