Riassunto
This thesis deals the desgn and development of the sensorized insole used to measure the variables needed to study the gait analysis in order to communicate in real time via Wi-fi to a wearable robotic device.
The wearable device, called APO (Active Pelvis Orthosis), is equipped with a system that can distinguish different types of movements of daily life and is able to assist in real time the user to make these movements.
The sensorized insole implement two diffent kind of sensors outside and inside the shoes.
The insole, inside the shoes, have 16 pressure sensors that have the task to determining some events such as heel-strike and toe-off events.
Whereas outside the soes is attacked an IMU to records the variables related to movement used by APO to determinate which kind of movements that the user is making.
