Riassunto
The thesis is the second part of an annual project concerning car parameters identification, sweep/track replay testing and definition of a structured methodology to define a performance index for setups and dampers tuning. The project has been developed and tested on DTM, GT3 and Formula E cars.
The first part is concerning road profile identification using sensors installed on the car and bumpyness and modal analysis by computation of PSD.
Afterwards a deep investigation on track replay testing methodology have been done which highlighted the main topics, issues and improvements achieved.
The final part of the elaborate is mainly focused on optimization process, setup tuning and kerb riding by defining some key performance indicators which summarize the overall response of the car.
