L’elaborato ha lo scopo di esporre i crimini di guerra fatti e subiti dalla popolazione altoatesina durante la seconda guerra mondiale. La tesi quindi affronta tematiche crude legate ad unità naziste con alta concentrazione di altoatesini come: i Polizeiregiment, le Gebirgsjäger Division e la terribile 24.Waffen Gebirgs Division der SS”Karstjäger”.
La ricerca tratta anche il tema dello stragismo, del campo di transito nazista di Bolzano e della violenza subita dagli altoatesini in particolare tra il 1943 ed il 1945.
The thesis aims to expose the war crimes committed and suffered by the South Tyrolean population during the Second World War. The thesis therefore addresses brutal issues related to Nazi units with a high concentration of South Tyroleans, such as the Polizeiregiment, the Gebirgsjäger Division, and the terrible 24th Waffen Gebirgs Division of the SS "Karstjäger."
The research also addresses the topic of massacres, the Nazi transit camp in Bolzano, and the violence suffered by South Tyroleans, particularly between 1943 and 1945.
