Riassunto
In this thesis work, my intention is to show the various steps that need to be follow to implement the cybersecurity process for the definition of the security requirements to be associated to the design of a new product in the context of the IEC 62443 standard. In this specific case, I analyzed the security needs of the ODT-ADAS (Obstacle Detection and Tracking - Advanced Driver Assistance System) system, used in autonomous tram. ODT-ADAS Is a system designed by GTS Italia (Florence) of the Hitachi Rail group, the company with which I collaborated throughout the project. The entire system is covered by the thesis, including its structure and architecture and the tools used to implement part of the identified security features.
In particular, my work has been focused on the account management of the ODT, in order to meet the related system requirements of the IEC 62443.
The process started with the evaluation and the following decisions on the security requirements, their categorizations and fitting to the specific object under analysis.
A local account management has been then created from scratch to make comply to the identified requirements the system. A detailed explanation of the Keycloak tool, used for the purpose, has been provided, along with how it was used to configure the local account management of the ODT-ADAS system.
