Questo lavoro di tesi è il risultato di un tirocinio di 6 mesi svolto presso la divisione Horsa Vision della società Horsa Next, facente parte a sua volta del Gruppo Horsa. Horsa Vision ha sede a Navacchio (Pisa) ed è specializzata nell’implementazione del sistema ERP Oracle NetSuite. Durante il periodo di tirocinio ho avuto la possibilità di partecipare ad un progetto di integrazione tra il sistema NetSuite e un sistema di Field Service Management per un’azienda operante nel settore biomedico. L’obiettivo principale del progetto è stato l’implementazione di un’integrazione che garantisca una sincronizzazione automatica dei dati condivisi tra i due applicativi. Dopo un’analisi del processo di manutenzione AS-IS e dei requisiti del cliente, sono stati individuati i dati che devono essere sincronizzati in automatico e come verranno scambiati tra i due sistemi. Terminati gli sviluppi tecnici dell’interfaccia di integrazione, sono state svolte le attività di testing e sono stati individuati miglioramenti alla modalità di scambio delle informazioni.

This thesis work is the result of a 6-month internship carried out at Horsa Vision, division of Horsa Next company, which is part of Horsa Group. Horsa Vision is based in Navacchio (Pisa) and its core activities are related to Oracle NetSuite ERP system implementation. During the internship I had the opportunity to take part in an integration project between the NetSuite system and a Field Service Management system for a company operating in the biomedical sector. The aim of the project was the realization of an integration that allows a synchronization of the data shared between the two application solutions. After an analysis of the as-is field assistance process and customer requirements, the data to be automatically synchronized and how they will be exchanged between the two systems have been defined. After technical developments were finalized, testing activities were carried out and improvements to the exchange information methods have been identified.
