Riassunto
Identification of metallic systems active in reducing the flammability and fume emission of polymers (tin, molybdenum, antimony, zinc, indium), with experimental verification of the specific activity. Selection and characterization of micro or nano mineral supports with flame retardant activity: huntite, aluminum trioxide, magnesite.
Optimization of the dispersion of metallic systems on mineral supports, and possibly quantitative characterization of the quality and homogeneity of the dispersion.
Verification of the flame retardant effectiveness of metal systems supported in halogenated polymers (PVC) in flame retardant formulations based on hydroxides and intumescent systems, with evaluation of the expected synergy due to the support
