Il fine di questa tesi è ricostruire come il Movimento Sionista selezionò tra il 1897 ed il 1904 una terra sulla quale reclamare la propria sovranità, la Palestina Ottomana, e indagare, dopo aver esposto il lungo processo politico sviluppatosi all'interno del movimento, nella diaspora ebraica in Europa dell'est e tra gli immigrati in Palestina, quali siano state le pratiche impiegate dai sionisti tra il 1904 ed il 1914 per insediare immigrati ebrei sionisti nella Palestina ottomana così da poter affermare la propria sovranità su di essa.

The aim of this thesis is to reconstruct how the Zionist Movement selected between 1897 and 1904 a land on which to claim its sovereignty, Ottoman Palestine, and to investigate, after exposing the long political process developed within the Movement, in the jewish diaspora in eastern Europe and between the jewish immigrants in Palestine what practices the Zionists employed between 1904 and 1914 to settle jewish zionist immigrants in Ottoman Palestine in order to assert their sovereignty over it.
